Présentation de l'atelier d’électromécanique de la Faculté des Sciences.
The Faculty of Sciences, by its uniqueness but also its diversity, is at the service of the triple university mission: teaching, research and citizenship.
One of the missions of the Faculty of Science is to prepare students to become self-reliant scientists imbued with the critical thinking and adaptability necessary to meet tomorrow's technological challenges.
At the forefront of research, the Faculty of Science develops a rigorous and innovative scientific approach that contributes to the quality of its teaching.
Although it satisfies the intellectual need and curiosity of the scientist, science is open to the world. In the service of men and women, it is closely linked to all aspects of human life.
Electromechanics is the combination of electronic and mechanical techniques. This combination of techniques is inherent to the scientific advances of recent decades: automation, robotics, mechatronics.
The mission of the Faculty of Science's electromechanics workshop is to provide a quality service in the development of parts and sensors for academic research and the repair of scientific and educational instruments. The electromechanical workshop also produces and repairs parts for ULiège's administrative services.
Built on the highly specialized skills of its technicians, the workshop is in charge of the following services:
Prof. Nicolas VANDEWALLE, responsable académique
Michel COLIN
Médéric MELARD
Samuel RONDIA
Chouaib TAHIR
