The preservation of biological material is of primary interest for research but also for industrial applications. It is the mission of the BCCM consortium not only to preserve, but also to offer quality controlled, characterised and documented biological material. BCCM also offers its expertise through services and partnership projects.

The BCCM consortium developed a specialized training which focuses on the preservation of micro-organisms. This course will be presented by our well experienced staff members and is addressed to students as well as scientists and technicians from various fields of work including but not limited to: education, industry, health services, etc. who aim to develop their skills in micro-organism handling in general and preservation techniques in particular.
